Being a manager is easy being a good manager is higher on the accomplishment scale.

There are many rules to follow the advice you can take from other people but this article sums it up to 12 must-have personality traits or actions a manager should do or have.

1. in view of your employees

How your employees see you is important, how you treat your employees is also important, and how they each other as a whole.

As a manager, you could be seen as a role model someone fearless and ready for the call to action, Fair and decisive, and not afraid to speak up when needed to.

Treating your employees as they deserve is also important, for example, if a worker has been doing a good job a good manager would reward them and let them know how good they have been doing, they push you to do better and help anyway to get you where you want to go with your career.

Finally, trust a manager and their team should have a bond of trust that will allow good collaboration, trust, etc. Trust/honesty also specifically the trust between worker and manager should be strong so any new ideas can be shared if a worker doesn’t trust a manager he is likely to not share or go above your head, honesty to allow a good improvement structure between the worker and manager.

  1. Management skills.

They do not micromanage – micromanaging  is known to cause a bad view of how your employees view you.

Calm under pressure – managers should be calm under pressure, as they should be role models for the rest of the team.
