Arm & Hammer Odor Busterz (Clean Burst): tiny baking-soda balls that nuked my funky car

I originally grabbed these little baking-soda balls in the Clean Burst scent, and wow—first hit was like opening a window to a super-clean, orangey breeze. I tossed one in my car and it cut through everything: kid snack funk, random spills, even that damp “just cleaned the seats” smell. It was powerful enough that my wife (very sensitive nose) thought it was a bit much, so fair warning: if you’re scent-sensitive, start with one ball, not two. For everyone else, it’s about as good as deodorizers get.

Longevity was solid. In the car, they kept things fresh for about 2–3 months before I pulled them (again, wife). I moved one to my gym bag and it kept working for months after that—still getting that clean orange vibe every time I opened it. I’ve tried the usual tree air fresheners and a pile of sprays; this is the only thing that actually made the space smell like something other than “dirty car trying to hide it.”

Quick tip: if your car has front and rear A/C, place a ball near each intake so the scent circulates (Google your make/model to find the intake spots). Don’t block airflow, and keep them away from kids/pets. If you want the same result without the heavy hit, crack the package for a day, then tuck the ball farther from the intake. For me, these beat regular air fresheners hands down.
